Inter manager Inzaghi confident in squad depth after Arsenal victory

Inter Milan secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Arsenal in the Champions League, maintaining their unbeaten record and clean sheet in the competition. Following the match, manager Simone Inzaghi spoke about the importance of squad rotation and the team’s performance.

Inzaghi emphasized the strength of his squad, stating, “I can make changes without problems, I have 23 starters.” He highlighted the demanding schedule, noting, “We’re at the sixth game in 20 days. We played against a strong team with very high rhythms. I needed to make changes.”

The Inter boss explained his rotation strategy: “In this cycle, we’ve had several injuries, and now some players needed to catch their breath. The four with the highest minutes played needed to rest. I make changes without problems; I trust everyone.”

Addressing the team’s defensive solidity, Inzaghi said, “We’ve put in great performances against some of the strongest teams in Europe like Arsenal and Manchester City.
