Brooke Norton-Cuffy has re-emerged as a concrete target for Inter after their failed talks for Ivan Perisic.

With Denzel Dumfries recovering from injury and Luis Henrique struggling, Inter are looking for alternatives on the flanks.

However, Inter didn’t succeed in initial talks for Perisic, with PSV deeming him too important to let him leave mid-season.

Now, it looks like the Nerazzurri have quickly turned to an alternative they were eyeing earlier in January.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy to Inter links resurface after failed Ivan Perisic talks

Brooke Norton-Cuffy has been flying for Genoa this season, culminating in Serie A’s giants taking an interest.

Speculation linking Inter and Norton-Cuffy has been going on for a number of weeks now.

Things cooled off somewhat in mid-January as Norton-Cuffy nursed a muscle issue.

However, speculation is intensifying once again following Inter’s failed Perisic talks.

Calciomercato have reported that Inter are now working to sign the Genoa right-back.

They added that ‘the details of the deal Inter are currently trying to finalize remain to be seen’.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has said outright that Inter are in advanced talks over Norton-Cuffy.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy: Juventus also in race

Brooke Norton-Cuffy is also on the radar of Juventus, who are looking to bolster their flanks alongside Inter.

The Italian outlet claimed Juve actually made the first move for the Genoa ace, being quoted €25m for his signature.

Norton-Cuffy returned to action on January 26, playing the full 90 minutes in the 3-2 win over Bologna.

This suggests the muscle issue that caused him to miss the Parma draw was relatively small.

After joining Genoa in the summer of 2024, the Englishman has gradually become a regular starter at the Grifone.

He has already made 20 appearances this season, registering one goal and one assist.

Norton-Cuffy spent time at the youth academies of Chelsea and Arsenal earlier in his career.

He played for English lower-league sides Lincoln City, Rotherham United, Coventry City and Millwall before the call from the Ligurians.

Now, Norton-Cuffy is in line for a move to Serie A’s elite and, with a few days left in the January transfer window, this space is worth watching.
