Inter are prepared to reject the latest offer from PSG for wantaway defender Milan Skriniar, potentially allowing him to leave for free in the summer. The Nerazzurri have made improved offers to the player in recent months but the Slovakian international seems intent on leaving the club, either in the January transfer window or in summer, when he will be a free agent.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Ligue 1 side are prepared to make another bid to sign Skriniar, offering Inter €10m to let him go before the transfer window closes next week. Gazzetta suggest that club directors Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio want at least double that amount to consider allowing him to leave.
Should no improved offer be forthcoming, the Nerazzurri could be content to let him play out the remaining five months of his contract, possibly with the intention of making one last bid to renew his contract.
Skriniar joined the club in 2017 from Sampdoria and instantly became a key player, making 242 appearances over six seasons and scoring 11 goals in all competitions.
