Inter and FC Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement in principle for French defender Benjamin Pavard. Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta confirmed earlier today that things were looking good for Pavard’s arrival at Inter, but refused to ‘announce’ the signing, despite the encouraging signs.

Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano now report that a deal is in place between the two sides for a €30 million transfer that includes €2-3 million in add-ons.

Bayern still need to find a replacement before letting the French centre-back leave the club, but the signs look encouraging for the moment.

Pavard previously spoke of his desire to play in Serie A, specifically for the Nerazzurri, of whom he is a self-confessed fan.
