Inter are set to sell Robin Gosens to Union Berlin and replace him with Monza’ Brazilian full-back Carlos Augusto. The Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with the Bundesliga side for Gosens’ transfer today, in a move that is expected to net them close to €15 million.
Sky Sport Italia report that Inter will reinvest the money immediately by signing Carlos Augusto from Monza for around €13 million. The club have been following the 24-year-old for much of the season following his impressive displays with the Biancorossi, having helped lead them to a comfortable 11th place finish.
The Brazilian joined Monza when they were still in Serie B and helped secure them promotion in 2021 before their impressive run in Serie A last season.
Augusto made 107 appearances in total for Monza, scoring 12 goals along the way, including 6 in the 2022-23 campaign.
