Inter Make Stance Clear on Yann Bisseck Selling Price Amid Premier League Interest

Start

Inter has taken a firm stance regarding the future of Yann Bisseck, with transfer interest from the Premier League continuing to grow this summer.

The German center-back is a target for Crystal Palace, who are on the search for defensive reinforcements as they prepare for potential changes to their backline.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the London club submitted an offer for Bisseck recently, only to see it swiftly rejected by Inter.

Yann Bisseck Transfer: How Much Does Inter Want?

The 24-year-old joined the Nerazzurri from Danish side Aarhus in 2023 and quickly adapted to life in Serie A.

After working his way into the starting XI, Bisseck became a reliable presence on the right side of Inter’s back three and earned his first senior call-up to the German national team.

While Palace’s bid was reportedly in the region of €32 million, Inter are not willing to sell unless their €40 million valuation is met.

The club believes Bisseck’s profile, age, and international upside justify their valuation – and are willing to hold firm rather than negotiate a lower fee.

Inter’s defensive depth is also a factor. With Champions League football and domestic title ambitions ahead, Cristian Chivu is determined not to weaken his backline unless absolutely necessary.

Inter remain among the early favorites to win next season’s Scudetto, according to several offshore sportsbooks, who price them slightly behind Napoli in pre-season odds.

Bisseck Responds to Transfer Speculation with Cryptic Message

For his part, Bisseck has not agitated for a move. He’s continuing pre-season training and recently posted a cryptic Instagram story saying, “They say what they wanna say” – a possible nod to the transfer speculation.

Internally, the club sees the German defender as part of its long-term core. That belief has only strengthened following his solid first season and growing comfort within the squad.

Inter’s current stance is not to actively shop the player but to consider offers only if they reflect their valuation, which Gazzetta reports is in the region of €40 million.

If they do end up selling Bisseck, the Nerazzurri will likely turn to Genoa defender Koni De Winter but must face competition from Bournemouth.

Crystal Palace, who view Bisseck as a possible replacement for Marc Guehi, may still return with an improved bid – but for now, they face a sizeable gap between offer and demand.
