Inter Urged To Sign Guglielmo Vicario After Disastrous Spurs Display Vs Forest
Unhappy Tottenham fans now want Inter to take Vicario.
Inter have been urged to move for Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario after his poor display against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
Spurs fans want Inter to take Guglielmo Vicario off their hands
Vicario has been linked with Inter ahead of the January transfer window as his Tottenham spell goes from bad to worse.
Having already been booed in last month’s loss to Fulham, the Italy international did little to restore faith against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Vicario’s mistakes proved costly: a loose pass put Archie Gray in trouble, allowing Ibrahim Sangare to tee up Callum Hudson-Odoi for the opener.
And after half-time, Vicario was caught in no-man’s land as Hudson-Odoi’s looping delivery drifted in.
Sangare wrapped up the victory for Forest late on, with Spurs falling to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat.
Spurs supporters took to social media to urge Inter to take Vicario off their hands in January.
“Vicario has now done this how many times? He’s not good enough,” one fan wrote on X. “Get on the phone to Inter and get him gone.”
Another wrote: “Inter, would you like to take Vicario off our hands? £10 sound fair to us.”
This one is definitely on Vicario and if the interest from inter Milan is concrete then it’s time to sell ..

And another said: “All on Vicario. Dude is a liability – ship him off to Inter now.”
Jamie Carragher’s brutal Guglielmo Vicario post-match verdict
English pundit Jamie Carragher was critical of Vicario as he analyzed the match on air.
“Typical Vicario, he’s always blaming someone else,” he said on Sky Sports.
“Every time I see him when a goal goes in, he’s throwing his arms at someone else. Just kick it out of play.”

However, Frank was keen to defend his first-choice keeper.
He argued there was no correlation between the goals that Vicario conceded against Forest and Fulham over the last few weeks.
“Two different situations, you can’t even compare them,” he told reporters.
“Simply because the ball was out on the side in one situation, and the other was in the middle of the pitch.
When asked about Vicario’s decision-making, Frank said: “I think Archie (Gray) did very well, this is a clear one.
“You see that every week: Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, all over the world. In, bounce out with the first touch.
“Unfortunately we took a touch and then we lost the ball.”
Inter’s reported interest will likely intensify as January approaches.
Vicario remains a high-level shot-stopper on his day. However, doubts over his distribution and command of the area are starting to define the conversation.
If Inter firm up their pursuit, Spurs may face a decision: persist with a keeper who looks short on confidence, or cash in on a player who is becoming a weekly talking point.
Cristian Chivu is targeting a new shot-stopper, being also linked with young USMNT goalkeeper Chris Brady.
Inter reportedly view the 21-year-old as a long-term replacement for Yann Sommer.
