Juventus And Inter Plot Summer Bids For Arsenal Star Jakub Kiwior

Start

The latest Jakub Kiwior transfer news has indicated that Juventus and Inter have joined the race for his signature.

Kiwior has been one of Arsenal’s star performers in recent weeks after stepping in for the injured Gabriel Magalhaes. The Brazilian international tore his hamstring against Fulham in April.

Since that 2-1 win over the Cottagers, Kiwior has played in 10 successive games across all competitions. The 25-year-old completed 90 minutes on every occasion and helped the Gunners to a clean sheet against Real Madrid.

Despite Mikel Arteta’s men missing out on the Champions League final and English Premier League title, Kiwior has earned rave reviews.

Jakub Kiwior Transfer News

According to Football Insider, both Juventus and Inter are ready to test Arsenal’s resolve this summer. The Serie A giants know that Kiwior is still considered a bit-part player at the Emirates.

That is solely due to the fact that Gabriel Magalhaes will be reinstated once he recovers from his hamstring injury. He is the natural centre-back partner to William Saliba.

With that said, the Gunners still consider Kiwior as a valuable squad member. The Polish international is set to be offered a new contract but his exit still appears likely.

Juve have been extremely underwhelming in 2024-25 and a plethora of new signings at the Allianz Stadium are expected this summer.

Kiwior would have a much better chance of becoming a regular starter in Turin. He impressed during his spell with Spezia and a return to Italy would suit the defender.

The Nerazzurri also provide a very attractive option for Kiwior. Simone Inzaghi’s side are gunning for both the Scudetto and Champions League crown.

Inzaghi’s charges have built a fine reputation as having one of the meanest and strongest defences in world soccer. Adding Kiwior to the San Siro ranks would help enhance that further.

At the time of writing, it’s unknown whether Mikel Arteta would want to part ways with Kiwior. However, no guarantee of first team action surely turns the 25-year-old’s head as he knows he can perform at the very top level.
