Jonathan David Transfer News
In May, it was reported that Napoli had submitted a contract offer to Jonathan David. However, it appears the Serie A champions will miss out on their target as Darwin Nunez looks set to join instead.
That left the path clearer for Juventus to get their man. The likes of the Gazzetta, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport have all reported that David has verbally agreed terms with the Old Lady.
English Premier League clubs Man United and Tottenham had also been in the running for the Canada star. So to had Inter, PSG, Fenerbahce and Bayern.

Jonathan David 2024-25 Stats
It’s easy to see why Jonathan David has garnered a huge line of potential suitors who were all vying for his signature this summer. Last season, he scored 25 goals and provided 12 assists in 49 appearances.
That equates to a goal every 158 minutes of action he played. However, it wasn’t just in 2024-25 that David excelled for Lille. Since joining the French side, he has netted an impressive 109 times in 232 outings.
Considering he only joined LOSC in 2020, those figures are one of the finest in Europe during the same time frame. If Juventus are to lose Dusan Vlahovic this window, the potential signing of David on a free is a major coup.
His contract is due to expire at the end of June so all the Old Lady needs to finalize is David’s agent fees. Once that has been completed, he’ll be officially announced by the club.
