Retro Done Right: Juventus and Milan’s 2026–27 Kits Are a Hit
Leaked pictures of the Juventus and AC Milan 2026-27 Serie A season shirts are doing the rounds, and they look amazing.
Juventus and Milan are Back to the Future
Sometimes you just need a little reminder of the past. A winning past. Juventus and AC Milan are on the same page about that. According to the Juventus jerseys expert La Maglia Bianconera the Juventus 2026–27 home shirt will take inspiration from the iconic 1976–77 season, when the club first conquered Europe: UEFA Cup Final won against Athletic Bilbao. In that roaster there were Roberto Bettega, Marco Tardelli and Fabio Capello. Classic black-and-white stripes are paired with a retro collar and gold logos and trim, creating a look that feels both timeless and premium.
The standout of the collection. Juventus return to their origins with a true pink base, black and off-white details, the retro Adidas trefoil, and a stylised zebra crest. According to La Maglia Bianconera, the shirt also features a subtle zebra-textured pattern, giving it depth without overdoing it.
The third kit is mostly black, elevated by gold and grey detailing. The boldest touch is a flame graphic on the lower half, adding a modern, almost Champions League–night vibe to the design. As well as Juventus, also Milan are looking forward their next vest.
Back to Proper Stripes for AC Milan
The Milan 2026–27 home kit will mark a clear return to tradition. Inspired by the legendary 1998–99 Adidas shirt, the design features wide red-and-black stripes. A look that many fans have been demanding for years. At least, according to Foot Headlines.
Black collar and sleeve cuffs are finished with a single red stripe, while the white Puma logo and sponsor pop sharply against the darker background. It’s simple, readable, and unmistakably Milan.
Fair to say that would be a rare Puma choice. In fact, since Puma took over Milan’s kits in 2018, only three home shirts have used traditional stripes (2018–19, 2019–20, and 2022–23). Everything else leaned experimental. This shirt feels like a deliberate reset.
