Juventus defender Gleison Bremer has provided an fitness update as he continues to recover from his season-ending ACL injury from earlier this season.

The Brazilian tore his cruciate ligament during the opening minutes of Juventus’ 3-2 victory over RB Leipzig in the Champions League in October.

Following surgery in Lyon days later, the center-back was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

Now Bremer has posted a positive update for fans, sharing pictures of him training on grass.

Juventus’ Gleison Bremer Posts Positive Injury Update

While the Brazil international is not expected to play again this season, Bremer has provided Juve fans with an update on his recovery.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Bremer shared pictures of himself training again on the pitch.

He said in the caption on his post: “Those who stay strong on the path, even when it’s rocky, are the ones who go the furthest. Keep walking, the journey is worth it!”

Bremer: The Worst Of The Injury Is Over

Being a key figure of the Juventus defence, Bremer’s presence has been missed.

However, he also revealed more encouraging news, insisting the worst of his injury is over.

As quoted by Tuttomercatoweb, Bremer said: “I’m doing well now. The worst is over, and I’m slowly recovering.”

Juventus currently sit fifth in Serie A. The Italian giants were also dumped out of the Champions League and Coppa Italia.
