Juventus Open Talks with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho

Start

Juventus have re-entered the race for Jadon Sancho, opening preliminary talks with Manchester United over a potential summer transfer, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The Bianconeri are not alone in their interest, as Napoli have also made early moves for the 25-year-old winger.

Sancho has returned to Old Trafford following a loan spell at Chelsea, where he managed five goals and ten assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. Despite a more promising year in London, his future at Manchester United remains uncertain.

Are Man Utd Selling Sancho?

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus have begun discussions with United directly, rather than approaching Sancho’s representatives at this stage.

This suggests the club is seeking clarity on the financial framework of a potential deal, especially given Sancho’s contract expiry in 2026, with only one year left on his current agreement if an extension isn’t triggered.

United are reportedly eager to offload the winger this summer, and Juventus hope to use his contract situation to negotiate a lower transfer fee.

Sancho is not in the plans of United boss Ruben Amorim, which further opens the door for a move to Serie A.

Do Napoli Want Sancho?

Napoli are also pressing ahead with their interest in Sancho. Antonio Conte is targeting at least two new wide forwards, and Sancho fits the profile.

Napoli have already held talks with the player’s camp, giving them a slight head start over Juventus in terms of personal negotiations.

The Partenopei are also negotiating with Bologna for Dan Ndoye, while Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa is another player on their radar should the club decide to part ways with one of their current attackers.

Juventus Sancho Transfer

This is not the first time Juventus has pursued Sancho. The Bianconeri were interested in the England international last summer, when Cristiano Giuntoli led the club’s transfer strategy. The move didn’t materialize then, but the club has continued to monitor his progress.

Juventus are also targeting Tottenham starlet Mikey Moore, with Giuntoli looking to rebuild the attack around Kenan Yildiz with young, exciting talent.

With somewhat of a rebuild underway, Juventus sees Sancho as a player who could thrive in Serie A if given a consistent role. His intelligence and technical ability would complement the likes of Yildiz and Timothy Weah, offering new width and creativity to the attack.

Can Juventus Afford Sancho?

While Sancho’s wages in particular are steep, Juventus will aim for a structured deal, potentially including loan terms or performance-based bonuses.

In terms of a transfer fee, reports suggest that Juve are willing to pay up to €25 million, which United would be expected to accept.

With Napoli in the picture and United ready to sell, negotiations could develop quickly.

Meanwhile, the club is also active on the defensive front, with Juventus pursuing a swap deal for West Ham’s Nayef Aguerd involving Daniele Rugani.
