Juventus Continue Talks for Kolo Muani as PSG Hold Out for Permanent Transfer

Start

Juventus are pushing to bring Randal Kolo Muani back to Turin, but Paris Saint-Germain are standing firm on their demand for a permanent sale.

The French striker, who impressed with 8 goals in 16 Serie A appearances after joining Juve in January, is back in Paris following the end of his loan after the Club World Cup.

The Bianconeri are hoping to extend his stay for the 2025/26 season. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have proposed a loan deal with an option to buy – a structure that worked well earlier this year.

However, PSG are currently unwilling to accept this solution, preferring either a straight sale or a loan with a mandatory purchase clause.

How Much Does PSG Want for Kolo Muani?

Juventus face another challenge: the price. While PSG spent €90 million to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, they are now reportedly asking for €45 million to let him go permanently.

However, PSG’s management is no longer willing to entertain flexible or staged deals and wants the figure paid up front.

The French club has also made it known they are considering alternative buyers, including Premier League clubs who have the financial muscle to meet the asking price.

Jonathan David Joins Juventus as Osimhen Links Fade

While talks for Kolo Muani continue, Juventus have already secured the signing of Jonathan David. The Canadian international arrives on a free transfer from Lille and is expected to undergo his medical in Turin this week.

The arrival of David gives Juventus one part of their new attacking core, but the plan is still to bring in a second center forward.

Kolo Muani remains the top priority, especially after Juventus cooled their interest in Victor Osimhen, whose €75 million release clause is only valid for foreign clubs.

For now, no progress has been made between Juventus and Napoli regarding Osimhen. Chelsea and clubs from Saudi Arabia are also reportedly monitoring the Nigerian striker’s situation.

Does Kolo Muani Want to Stay at Juventus?

According to reports in Italy, Kolo Muani is open to returning to Juventus, where he felt valued and was given regular game time.

The main stumbling blocks remain the structure of the deal and his €8 million per season salary, which was split with PSG during his half-season loan.

Juventus covered approximately €4 million in wages from January onward and would need to renegotiate with both PSG and the player to find a financially viable solution.

What is clear is that the Bianconeri are reshaping their frontline. With Dusan Vlahović’s contract set to expire in 2026 and no new offers on the table, Juventus are assessing their long-term options.

Keeping both David and Kolo Muani would provide Igor Tudor with a versatile and mobile strike pairing capable of pushing for the Scudetto.

Whether PSG will soften their stance in the coming days remains to be seen. Juventus, however, are determined to find a way to bring Kolo Muani back — even if it takes another round of negotiations to align on a deal structure.
