Juventus are closing in on a new loan deal for Marseille striker Arek Milik and are optimistic of agreeing a deal. The Polish international spent the 2022-23 season on loan with the Bianconeri, in a move which included an option to make the move permanent in June.
Juve opted not to sign the striker outright for a reported €7m fee, but Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that talks are now underway to bring Milik back to Turin for the new campaign.
According to Di Marzio, Juve are negotiating a new loan deal which will include an obligation to sign Milik outright, if certain sporting targets are met.
In order for the deal to go through, Milik will need to agree a one-year contract extension with Marseille, given that his existing deal is set to end in 2025.
