Juventus are on the hunt for a 37th Scudetto to extend their lead at the top of the table for most Serie A titles and will enter the 2025/26 season under the eye of Igor Tudor.

The Croatian was appointed as the permanent manager at Juve following a strong temporary stint at the end of last season, guiding the Italian side into Champions League qualification.

So far, the summer transfer window has been an interesting period for Juve, bringing in signing Joao Mario and Jonathan David, alongside a list of players on a permanent deal following successful loan moves last year.

Tudor has enjoyed a host of games before his opening match this season, taking Juventus to the FIFA Club World Cup Ro16 and remaining undefeated from all four pre-season friendlies.

However, the Turin-based side could face a major set-back before the league season begins, as Kenan Yildiz has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Moving on to Parma now and the Italian side enter this season with a fresh look, appointing former Arsenal first-team assistant, Carlos Cuesta and the Spaniard is the youngest manager in Europe’s top five leagues at 30-years-old.

Learning his trade in Mikel Arteta’s backroom staff, Cuesta comes into a side that only avoided relegation by just five-points and conceded the third-highest amount of goals in Serie A last season.

Parma have suffered some major departures this summer, losing Giovanni Leoni to Liverpool, Ange-Yoan Bonny to Inter Milan and Simon Sohm to Fiorentina.

However, there have been some positive reinforcements to help fill the holes left, with Matija Frigan, Christian Ordóñez, Oliver Sorensen and Abdoulaye Ndiaye all joining the club.

Cuesta got off to a winning start in his competitive match in charge, beating Pescara 2-0 in the Coppa Italia, but face a harder task against Juventus on August 24th.

These two sides last met in April of this year, as Parma beat Juve 1-0 and their last defeat to the 36-time Scudetto winners came in a 3-1 loss during the 2020/21 season.

Juventus were not at their best during the 2024/25 season, largely due to their performances under Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor has made some positive changes during his time in charge.

The Old Lady have also added some much-needed quality to their roster, while keeping a hold of their star performers from last season and could push for a 37th league title.

With that in mind, we expect Igor Tudor’s side to make a strong start to their league campaign, despite a poor record against Parma and pick up a comfortable three-points at home.

Kenan Yildiz to Score at Any Time: +220

As we have previously mentioned, Kenan Yildiz has reportedly attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur, however, there has been no official contact between the two parties.

This means Yildiz should be in Juve’s squad for their league opener and will be a crucial part in Igor Tudor’s attacking set-up, playing just behind Jonathan David.

The Turkish international scored three goals in his four appearances at the FIFA Club World Cup, hitting some strong form in one of Europe’s biggest tournaments.

Given this strong return, we expect the 20-year-old to be on target against Parma and offshore sportsbooks have priced Yildiz at +200 to score on Sunday evening.
