Juventus Probe Nkunku Deal With AC Milan As January Window Nears
Nkunku is on increasingly thin ice at Milan.
Juventus are reportedly monitoring AC Milan striker Christopher Nkunku, with Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce also showing interest.
Juventus make timid approach for Milan striker Christopher Nkunku
Nkunku has struggled to get to grips with life at Milan following his summer move from Chelsea.
As a result, speculation around his future has intensified, with numerous reports claiming he could leave in January.
Il Corriere dello Sport has claimed that Juventus have made a ‘timid approach’ to Milan regarding Nkunku.
The Bianconeri reportedly proposed a potential swap involving Nkunku and Federico Gatti, who Massimiliano Allegri rates highly.
Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is facing a number of months on the sidelines after undergoing adductor surgery.

As a result, Luciano Spalletti’s side appears to be looking around for alternatives such as Nkunku.
Interestingly, Milan like Vlahovic and could potentially swoop for him on a free transfer, according to reports.
Corriere also claims there have been tentative checks for Nkunku from the Premier League, but Turkey is currently viewed as the most realistic destination.
Galatasaray and Fenerbahce frontrunners for Nkunku
The strongest pull is reportedly coming from Istanbul, where both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have made checks on the situation.
Milan have apparently set an asking price of €35m, a figure which would see them recoup most of their initial summer outlay.
Nkunku cost the Rossoneri around €37m. However, he has contributed one goal and one assist so far, falling well short of expectations.
Fenerbahce are described as being the frontrunners at this stage. The report suggesting they are best placed to offer an outright fee.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, are reportedly keeping a close watch and are ready to move if negotiations elsewhere stall.
Why Nkunku to Juventus would not go down well among fans
For Juventus, the appeal is obvious. Nkunku can play across the front line and, on paper, offers a ready-made solution while Vlahovic recovers.
However, it would also feel like a gamble that many supporters would struggle to get behind, especially at the above price.
Juve have been here before: taking on a “name” who needs fixing, hoping the badge and the pressure spark a quick turnaround.
The problem is that Nkunku’s last few months have not looked like he is close to exploding into form.
At Milan, he has lacked rhythm and sharpness, and a move to Turin would not give him the luxury of time or patience.
If the deal is structured as a low-cost loan with sensible conditions, it’s easier to sell as a calculated punt.
If Juve sign him outright, it becomes harder to explain, and even harder to justify if the same old problems follow him to Turin.
For Juventus, the smartest outcome may be keeping their distance unless Nkunku shows signs of turning a corner.
That said, if that were to happen, it could well prompt Milan to change their minds and keep hold of him until the summer.
