Juventus are making significant moves in the transfer market, with developments surrounding two French midfielders: Adrien Rabiot and Khephren Thuram. Rabiot, whose contract with Juventus expires on June 30, 2024, is set to meet with his mother and agent, Veronique, during a day off from Euro 2024 duties. The club has already offered a two-year contract worth €7.5 million annually, with an option for a third year. However, Rabiot is using the European Championship as a showcase before making his final decision.

Calciomercato report that Juventus have made progress in their pursuit of Khephren Thuram, son of former Juventus player Lilian Thuram. The club’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, has reached a preliminary agreement with Thuram’s representatives. The player, who spent part of his childhood in Turin, has reportedly expressed his desire to join Juventus to both his entourage and his current club, Nice.

Thuram’s contract with Nice expires in 2025, and he has decided not to renew. Juventus is prepared to offer him a salary of up to €2.5 million per year. The main hurdle now is negotiating a transfer fee with Nice. The French club initially demanded €40 million, but has lowered their asking price to €25 million plus bonuses. Juventus aims to close the deal at around €15-20 million plus bonuses.

The Italian giants are also considering including a player in the deal, with options including Moise Kean, Arkadiusz Milik, or young talent Joseph Nonge.
