Juventus Ready To ‘Cut Losses’ On Dusan Vlahovic As Italian Giants Price Serbian Striker At $30 Million

Start

Juventus are reportedly willing to cut their losses on Dusan Vlahovic, as the Italian side have priced the Serbian striker at just $30 million.

What Went Wrong For Dusan Vlahovic At Juventus?

After a $75 million to Juventus in January 2022, Dusan Vlahovic was expected to be the next big thing in Italy, especially after contributing to 57 goals in 108 games for Fiorentina (49G + 8A).

However, his time in Turin has been somewhat of a struggle despite scoring 56 goals and assisting another 14 in 142 appearances and the Serbian could be on his way out of Juventus this summer.

His 2024/25 campaign was filled with disappointment, scoring just 10 goals and only finding the net twice in his last 10 league appearances for Juventus.

In the most recent campaign, Vlahovic missed eight games through injury and this has been a reoccurring issue for the 25-year-old during his time with Juve.

The biggest example of this came during the 2022/23 season, as the Serbian international missed 13 matches through injury and only managed to score 10 league goals.

His most prolific season in Serie A came in the 2023/24 season, as the Juventus star managed to score 16 goals and started to justify the $75m price tag.

Dropping back down to 10 goals in a league campaign has caused some concern within the Juventus camp and Vlahovic is now being linked with a move away from the club.

One possible event that may tempt Juventus into keeping their Serbian striker, is the possibility of Federico Chiesa returning to Italy and rejoining Juve – as the two had a strong relationship during their time together.

In June 2026, the 25-year-old’s deal in Turin will come to an end and the club are reportedly not interested in offering Vlahovic new deal – meaning now is the time to cash in to avoid losing the striker on a free next year.

Who Could Sign Vlahovic This Summer?

A host of teams across Europe will be monitoring Vlahovic’s situation in Italy this summer, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and AC Milan all on the hunt for a new talisman.

Ruben Amorim’s side are looking to offload Rasmus Hojlund following another disappointing season in Manchester and have been linked with several strikers this summer.

Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko are the three big names currently being talked about, but each of these options could cost over $80m.

At $30m, Vlahovic could be an extremely tempting offer for clubs this summer and a move to the Premier League appears to be the most likely option according to Serie A betting sites.

However, with Massimiliano Allegri taking the reins at AC Milan, a move down to Milan could be a possible option for Vlahovic this summer as Allegri signed the striker for Juve back in 2022.
