Juventus legend, Giorgio Chiellini, has provided a major update on Randal Kolo Muani, as the Frenchman continues to push for a return to Serie A.

Randal Kolo Muani Transfer News

The Paris Saint-Germain star has been heavily linked with a move away from the French capital after failing to cement a place in the starting eleven under Luis Enrique.

During the 2024/25 campaign, Kolo Muani made just 10 appearances for the Parisian side, starting on two occasions and was clearly unsettled in France.

This left the striker with no choice but to find a new club in January, completing a short-term loan deal to Juventus and Kolo Muani quickly became a cult hero in Turin.

Scoring five goals in his opening three Serie A appearances, the 26-year-old went on to make play in 16 league matches and contributed to nine goals (8G +1A).

Following this impressive run, the Frenchman traveled to the United States with Juventus to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, where he went on to score two and assist one in three appearances.

After his loan deal in Italy came to an end in July, Kolo Muani headed back to Paris and was reportedly looking to complete a permanent move to Turin right away.

However, this has failed to materialize as PSG and Juventus are struggling to agree a deal, with the French side looking for $65-70 million and in specific installments.

Juventus are reportedly willing to offer a $60m total package, but beginning with a $10m loan fee and the other $50m coming as an obligation to buy option.

These negotiations are ongoing, however, Juventus will be looking to complete a deal swiftly, as Dusan Vlahovic has attracted interest from Newcastle and is edging closer to a summer exit.

Igor Tudor’s side managed to put their transfer struggles to one-side for the opening game of the season, beating Parma 2-0 at home despite going down to 10-men for the final 10 minutes.

Summer signing, Jonathan David was on target to score his first Serie A goal and is proof of a Ligue 1 star becoming an instant hit for Juventus – something Igor Tudor wants to repeat with Kolo Muani.

What Did Chellini Say About Randal Kolo Muani Juventus Move?

As the Randal Kolo Muani transfer drama continues, Igor Tudor will be looking to keep progressing his side and focus on the players that he currently has available.

However, the Croatian is reportedly pushing for the move and is a big fan of the French international, getting a full glimpse at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Juventus have also been linked with Manuel Akanji, with the Swiss defender reportedly looking for a move away from Manchester – with Tudor looking to build a complete squad.

Former Juve defender and now Head of Football Institutional Relations at the club, Giorgio Chiellini, has provided an update on the talks surrounding Kolo Muani and Juventus’ transfer approach in general

The Italian icon supported the idea that Igor Tudor is trying to create a ‘solid team’ and believes the Croatian manager is going to a play a huge part in player selection.

Chiellini said: “We’re trying to create a solid team, working together game by game. We’ll see what happens later. If there’s an opportunity to improve the team, we’ll do it.

“Igor Tudor is making his stamp, not only technically, but also on player selection. This is the case for everyone. What happens on the pitch will speak for itself.”
