Juventus have parted ways with Igor Tudor after a run of eight matches without a win and this poor form could also see a host of star players leave in 2026.
Should Juventus Have Sacked Igor Tudor?
The Bianconeri decided to bring Igor Tudor’s time in Turin to an end after just eight Serie A matches, as Juventus dropped down to eighth in the table with 12-points.
Suffering a 1-0 defeat to Lazio was the final nail in the coffin for Tudor, as Juventus extended a streak of eight matches without a win across all competitions.
The Croatian was appointed on a permanent basis at the start of the 2025/26 season after impressing as an interim coach last season, but failed to deliver at the crucial times.
With Tudor now out of the picture, the search for a new Juventus manager has began and the selected candidate will need to hit the ground running.
If Juventus failed to qualify for the Champions League a host of star players could move on in 2026 and we have looked into the most likely departures.
Will Kenan Yildiz Leave Juventus In 2026?
The Turkish international kicked-off the 2025/26 season superbly, contributing to four goals in three Serie A appearances (1G + 3A), but Yildiz’s performances have dwindled dramatically.
This tally of four goal contributions in three league appearances has not been extended, as the 20-year-old has failed to register a goal or assist in his last five league outings.
Despite this, Yildiz’s talent is clear to see and some of Europe’s elite sides have shown heavy interest ahead of the 2026 transfer windows, with Chelsea currently in pole position.
The Premier League side were reportedly close to signing the Turkish international during the 2025 summer transfer window, but were unable to agree a fee with Juventus.
Failing to qualify for the Champions League would leave the Bianconeri in an awkward position, as Yildiz will be keen on competing in Europe’s elite competition next season – making a move away extremely likely.
Could Gleison Bremer Leave Juventus?
Gleison Bremer has arguably been Juventus’ most important player since signing for the club in July 2022 and his current absence through injury has coincided with Juve’s poor run of form.
The Juventus captain has missed five matches across all competitions after a recent knee surgery and the Bianconeri are winless from each of these five encounters.
Bremer has played 90 minutes in Serie A on three occasions this season and Juventus were victorious each time, highlighting his importance to the Italin side’s back-line.
His deal with the 37-time Serie A champions does not expire until June 2029, however, Bremer has established himself as one of the best defenders in Europe and could look to move on if Juventus’ results do not improve.
Will Khephren Thuram Move Next Summer?
Khephren Thuram was close to leaving Juventus in the most recent summer transfer window, as the French midfielder attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old signed for Juventus for €20 million in July 2024 after an impressive spell with Nice and has gone on to make 61 appearances for the Bianconeri.
Many regard Thuram as one of the best midfielders in Serie A and his talents may have been wasted in Igor Tudor’s system, as the Croatian utilized a 3-4-2-1 system.
Tudor was criticized for his pragmatic approach, which was highlighted in Serie A but also in the UCL as Juventus were one of the worst performing Italian teams in European competition.
Thuram still has four-years remaining on his deal in Turin, but reports have suggested that both Arsenal and Real Madrid are willing to entertain Juve’s €70m asking price.
Could Weston McKennie Go Back To MLS?
Leaving Juventus has been a possibility for Weston McKennie for multiple seasons now, with the USMNT star leaving the club on loan during the 2023/24 season.
McKennie’s deal with Juventus is set to expire in June 2026 and talks over an extension have shown little progress, as the 27-year-old is reportedly keen on returning to the United States.
During Igor Tudor’s reign as Juventus manager, McKennie was pushed in and out of the team, while being utilized as a wide player on several occasions.
If Juventus finish outside of the top four, the McKennie will have an added incentive to leave as a free agent next summer and the USMNT is likely to move back to North America.
Is Dusan Vlahovic Leaving Juventus In 2026?
Another player that is coming to the end of his deal with Juventus is Serbian striker, Dusan Vlahovic, who looked all-but certain to be leaving Turin in the latest transfer window.
However, Vlahovic decided to stay in Turin despite the arrivals of Jonathan David and Lois Openda, which looked to be the smart decision in the opening stages of the season.
The Serbian international score two vital goals from the bench in Juve’s opening two Serie A matches, before bagging a brace and providing an assist to help the Bianconeri earn a point against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Since then, Vlahovic’s performances have failed to meet expectations and the Serbian has failed to find the back of the net in eight consecutive appearances.
Despite this poor form, the former Fiorentina star is still being monitored by several sides around Europe and could leave Juventus as a free agent next summer.
