Juventus are already in talks with Arsenal over a possible summer move for Brazilian defender Gabriel. The Bianconeri are in the market for a new centre-back, following the departure of Giorgio Chiellini who spent 17 years at the club.
According to La Stampa, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, Juve have identified Gabriel as the ‘heir’ to Chiellini and are already in talks with the Gunners over a possibly move.
Despite the talks, it’s claimed that the Gunners are asking for at least €50 million for the 24-year-old, who they signed from Lille in a £27m deal in 2020.
Juventus are hoping to include players in a potential deal, and are prepared to offer midfielder Arthur Melo, a player Arsenal came close to signing on loan in the winter window.
