The latest Kamaldeen Sulemana transfer news has revealed that Atalanta have submitted a €17million bid for the Southampton star.
Sulemana looks destined to leave the EFL Championship club after spending the last two-and-a-half years in England. He was a part of the Saints side who was relegated from the Premier League in 2023 and 2025.
Nonetheless, that hasn’t stopped the Dea from pursuing the 23-year-old winger. Sulemana scored just four goals in 74 appearances for the English club.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Atalanta were advancing in their pursuit of Kamaldeen Sulemana. Now, it has been confirmed via the Daily Echo that the Serie A side have tabled a €17m bid.
Interestingly, Sulemana played under new Dea head coach Ivan Juric at Southampton in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.
Although the Saints struggled and were relegated in April, the pair still have a strong relationship and Juric wants Sulemana to transfer to the Gewiss this window.
Atalanta are expected to challenge for a top four spot again in 2025-26. Sulemana will potentially have the chance to showcase his skills and attributes in the UCL.
How Much Is Kamaldeen Sulemana Worth?
According to TransferMarkt, Kamaldeen Sulemana is currently valued at €13m. His current contract with Southampton still has two years to run.
His highest valuation came in March 2023 (€22m) when he had only been with the Saints a month. Therefore, Atalanta’s reported bid should be enough to convince Will Still’s men to enter into negotiations.
Sulemana is open to the move but the EFL Championship club is thought to be holding out for closer to €20m for the Ghana international.
With that in mind, Ivan Juric’s side may structure their deal so that Southampton can receive performance related add-ons. Something of which they’ll likely accept.
Is Ademola Lookman Leaving Atalanta?
Kamaldeen Sulemana’s potential switch to Serie A further indicates that star man Ademola Lookman could be on his way out of the Gewiss.
