According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 27 year-old wing-back was not seen at today’s training in preparation for the capital club’s friendly tournament in Japan during the World Cup, amid the intense clash Karsdorp has had with the Special One over comments made within the post-match conference against Sassuolo.
As a result, it is quite evident that the relationship between the Dutch international and Roma has taken a major hit, potentially forcing the club to offload the want-way defender within the January transfer window in order to avoid further hostility within the dressing room ahead of the second half of the campaign.
