Lazio expected to fine Luis Alberto for comments – Lotito: ‘He has a four year contract’

Sky Sport Italia report that Lazio are expected to fine Luis Alberto for his recent comments, while Claudio Lotito says the player will need to find a buyer if he wants to leave. Alberto, speaking to the press after Lazio’s 4-1 victory over Salernitana, revealed that he had already informed the club of his intention to leave in the summer, asserting that he would seek to terminate his contract. Moreover, he emphasized his willingness to forego any further earnings from the club.

However, the situation may not unfold as smoothly as Alberto anticipates. Sky Italia reports that Lazio officials were taken aback by the midfielder’s statements, leading to an expectation of fines being imposed by the Biancocelesti. Furthermore, there’s a possibility that Alberto could find himself excluded from the club’s future plans.

Newly appointed manager Igor Tudor reportedly does not view Luis Alberto as a key figure in the club’s project.
