French newspaper L’Equipe claim that Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has already agreed to join Ligue 1 champions PSG. The Georgian international’s agent recently confirmed that the Parisians had made an offer for his client, suggesting a transfer could happen this summer.
New Partenopei manager Antonio Conte will be facing a number of challenges once he’s officially been confirmed as coach, not least the expected departure of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo and now, Kvaratskhelia.
According to L’Equipe, ‘Kvaradona’ has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain, but PSG must first reach an agreement with Napoli, however convincing President Aurelio De Laurentiis will be a significant challenge for the French champions.
New manager Conte is adamant about retaining Kvaratskhelia, viewing him as a crucial component of his planned lineup. Conte, the former Italy national team coach, has a track record of developing unconventional talents, as he did with Belgian star Eden Hazard at Chelsea and South Korean forward Son Heung-min at Tottenham.
