Roma could make another bid to sign Atalanta striker Luis Muriel on a free transfer in summer when his contract ends. The Giallorossi were hoping to snatch the the Colombian international before the January transfer window closed, but their attempts were thwarted.
Calciomercato.com now report that Roma could make another move for the 31-year-old when his contract with La Dea ends, and rate the club as strong favourites to secure him.
Muriel reportedly made a strong push to join Mourinho’s side in January but an agreement couldn’t be reached before the close of the window.
The striker has the option to stay another year with Atalanta already included in his contract but is unlikely to trigger it as he considers his time in Bergamo at an end.
