Luka Modric Makes Big Admission On AC Milan Future After Serie A Heroics
The evergreen 40-year-old has been undroppable this season.
Luka Modric has signalled he wants to continue his stay at AC Milan after an impressive first few months.

The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner has been crucial under Massimiliano Allegri this season, starting 14 consecutive Serie A games.
Modric, who turned 40 in September, signed a one-year deal after spending 13 years with Real Madrid. His contract is set to run until June 2026, but Milan hold the option to trigger a one-year extension.
He made a near-instant impact after scoring the winning goal against Bologna in just his fourth appearance and is expected to remain an undisputed starter as the Rossoneri look to clinch a first top-flight title since 2022.
Opening up on his start to life at the club, Modric told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “I feel good, physically and mentally, and I like what I do. I want to keep going like this because I’m having fun.
“Everything is going the way I wanted.”
Milan are Modric’s favourite team, and he has again branded them the “biggest” Italian club.
He added: “I enjoy myself every day at Milanello and every time I wear the Rossoneri shirt.
“I never thought I would come to Milan until I was at Real Madrid, but sometimes in life, things happen when you least expect them. It was a dream come true because I was a Milan supporter since I was a child.”

‘Great’ Massimiliano Allegri Praised
Allegri had described Modric as an “extraordinary player” after it was confirmed that he would join.
The player has now returned the favour, heaping praise on the manager after he steered them joint top of Serie A.
“He’s a great coach, a winner,” said Modric. “I enjoy working with him, and he surprised me with his personality.
“He has an amazing ability to create a good feeling in the dressing room because he’s used to managing great champions. He helps you to give your best and keeps you calm, so it’s easier to do what you need to do.”

Modric arrived at Milan with an extraordinary pedigree. The midfielder won 28 trophies, including six Champions Leagues and four LaLiga titles – after joining Real Madrid in 2012.
He also reached the World Cup final with Croatia in 2018.
Unsurprisingly, he has been ever-present at the San Siro, making 16 appearances while scoring once and chalking up two assists. Despite his advancing age, Modric has also played the full 90 minutes in 12 matches.
