Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Lecce for Pongracic’s transfer, with the deal worth €15 million plus €1 million in bonuses. This move represents an intriguing market development, as Lecce and Rennes had initially agreed on terms for the player’s transfer to France.
However, Fiorentina’s late entry into negotiations changed the situation. The Viola were searching for a defender to replace the departing Nikola Milenkovic, and Pongracic emerged as their preferred target.
