Gazzetta report that the Rossoneri are now closing in on the signing of Miranda, and could agree a deal with Betis that would allow the Spanish international to arrive in January.
Milan are looking for cover for Theo Hernandez following a spate of injuries that have decimated their back line in recent weeks, prompting coach Stefano Pioli to move Hernandez to centre-back.
The Rossoneri could be prepared to offer €3m-€4m in the January window to secure the signing of Miranda, having already agreed terms with the player on a four-year deal.
