More Than One Million US-Based Soccer Fans Set To Tune In For Milan Derby
The Milan derby takes center-stage on matchday 12 as rivals AC and Inter meet at the San Siro.

This weekend’s hugely anticipated game between AC Milan and Inter Milan could attract in excess of one million US viewers.
Cristian Chivu and Max Allegri’s sides will meet at the San Siro stadium on Sunday knowing defeat is not an option. As it stands, the Nerazzurri are top of the Serie A table – two points and two places above their arch rivals.
The match is one of the most popular in world soccer and typically draws huge audiences from around the globe. This weekend will be no different as the Italian giants go toe-to-toe for the first time this season.
With vital points up for grabs – as well as local pride – a vast number of American supporters will be following the action live.

Milan Derby Viewing Figures In The USA
Not only is the Milan derby expected to be the highest-grossing Serie A match of all-time, it’s predicted a record number of American supporters are set to tune in.
The estimates range from 700,000 – 1.2million but experts have determined that a figure of close to one million is the more realistic number to expect on November 23.
Milan derby viewing figures from previous years in the US haven’t been made public. However, the matchday 12 clash will almost certainly set a new record.
That in itself just goes to show how interest in Italy’s elite is booming. And with AC and Inter among the most well supported clubs in the Land of Opportunity, the figures will likely increase year-on-year.
How To Watch The Milan Derby In The USA
The Milan derby will be broadcast live on DAZN with kick-off at 2:45pm ET (11:45am PT). Soccer supporters can also tune in on Paramount+ with a number of other streaming services showing the game.
Inter vs AC can be viewed on the Fox Sports App, FoxSports.com and Fox Deportes. CBS Sports Golazo will also be providing live updates via their social channels.
For US fans based in the UK on November 23, TNT Sports will be showing the derby live on TV. Kick-off is at 7:45pm. DAZN is also streaming the match.
Serie A’s Popularity Has Soared Across America
Naturally, Serie A’s popularity has continued to rise owing to wider broadcasting availability. This, of course, wouldn’t have been implemented unless the general interest in Serie A surged.
For example, a recent report claims the viewership alone from the 2024-25 campaign is up 50% compared to the season previous. That is a huge spike that will likely increase again in 12 months.
Furthermore, USMNT captain Christian Pulisic plays for AC. He is widely considered as the greatest American soccer player of all-time so keen supporters will likely tune in just to watch him. His appeal and poster boy status have helped catapult him into a global star.
From a marketing perspective, more money and emphasis has been put into promoting Serie A games. Especially the Milan derby which is easily the marquee fixture in the entire league.
No matter what happens on the pitch, fans will be watching on with key interest with the arch rivals set to entertain a record number of US-based supporters.
