According to reports in Italy, Serbian striker Luka Jovic looks set to renew his contract with Milan this summer. The 26-year-old initially signed a one-year agreement with the Rossoneri, but could now extend his stay in Milan.
Calciomercato report that in the past few hours, there has been an important, perhaps decisive, contact between the agent of the Serbian striker, Fali Ramadani, and the Rossoneri management, where the mutual desire to continue together has been reiterated. In the coming days, a new contact is expected to discussed, extending his stay beyond July 2024.
According to CM, Milan will not exercise the option for an annual renewal agreed upon last summer for Jovic but instead are working on a new agreement with Ramadani for a longer duration. The player is very happy to continue his adventure with the Rossoneri and has no intention of considering other offers on the market.
Jovic has managed 9 goals and 1 assist in 28 appearances in all competitions and Milan consider him a good alternative in attack, with the departure of Olivier Giroud influencing the choice.
