Arkadiusz Milik, Juventus’ Polish striker, has taken a significant step in his recovery process following a lengthy injury layoff. The forward, who has been sidelined since June due to two separate knee surgeries, has recently begun his re-athleticization program.
Calciomercato report how Milik’s absence has been keenly felt by Juventus, with manager Thiago Motta relying heavily on Dusan Vlahovic as the team’s sole central striker for much of the season. The news of Milik’s progress comes as a welcome boost for the Bianconeri, who are eager to bolster their attacking options.
The 29-year-old underwent an initial arthroscopic selective meniscectomy on his left knee in early June, followed by a second arthroscopic suturing procedure in early October. These operations have kept Milik out of action for the entirety of the 2024/25 season thus far.
While an exact return date remains uncertain, reports suggest that Milik could rejoin full team training in the latter half of December. However, it’s still unclear whether he will be available for selection before the end of the year or if his comeback will be pushed to early January.
