Napoli have signed Getafe left-back Mathías Olivera with only an official announcement pending. The Uruguayan had been linked with a switch to the Partenopei since the start of the year and was pictured in Italy earlier this week.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the deal is now done and the medical examinations were completed two days ago.
The final details have reportedly been completed with Getafe and only an official announcement is due. The 24-year-old is expected to join Napoli for a fee in the region of €15 million, including bonuses.
Olivera spent four seasons with the La Liga side, scoring 1 goal in 77 appearances.
