Cyril Ngonge, Napoli’s 24-year-old Belgian winger, finds himself in a peculiar situation. Despite his limited playing time under Antonio Conte at Napoli, the former Verona player has become one of the most sought-after talents in Serie A.

Calciomercato detail how, this season, Ngonge has seen a mere 124 minutes of action across seven appearances, creating a stark contrast between his bench-warming role at Napoli and his high demand elsewhere. His performance in the Coppa Italia, where he scored two goals in three matches, briefly hinted at his potential before Napoli’s elimination by Lazio further reduced his opportunities.

Several Serie A clubs are showing keen interest in Ngonge. Lazio have proposed a swap deal involving Danish winger Gustav Isaksen, the 23-year-old who recently impressed at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. However, Lazio’s request for an additional €2 million has met resistance from Napoli.

Bologna and Fiorentina have also entered the race for Ngonge’s signature, with Fiorentina making a strong push in recent hours. Napoli is seeking to recoup close to the €19 million they invested in Ngonge last January. Bologna has offered a loan deal worth €1 million with an option to buy at €12 million.

Como, while still in the market for a winger, seems to have shifted focus to other targets.

In an intriguing development, Ngonge’s agent, William D’Avila, recently met with AC Milan’s technical director Geoffrey Moncada in Milan. The meeting, which took place about ten days ago, included discussions about Ngonge and Belahyane. Milan has expressed interest in the Belgian winger but would only consider a loan deal, contingent on Samuel Chukwueze’s potential departure.
