The Old Lady has reached an agreement with Vitoria Guimaraes for Costa’s permanent transfer. The deal is worth between 12 and 13 million euros, with additional bonuses and a 5% sell-on clause. The 21-year-old Portuguese defender arrived in Italy late last night, landing at Turin-Caselle airport around 3 AM.

This morning at 9 AM, Costa made his way to the J|Medical center to undergo the customary medical examinations. These tests are a crucial step before the official signing of his contract, which is expected to keep him at Juventus until June 2029. The young talent is set to earn an initial salary of 500,000 euros net per year, with provisions for increases over time.
