Reports from Germany suggest Paris Saint-Germain defender Nordi Mukiele failed a medical check with AC Milan. There’s no mention of when the intended transfer was due to take place, but the suggestion is that it may have been this month.
The Rossoneri are in need of defensive reinforcements following a glut of injuries to their centre-backs, ruling out players like Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu for a number of months.
According to a report from German magazine Kicker, Mukiele had a medical at Milan which he did not pass, with the young centre-back now expected to complete a transfer to Bayern Munich instead.
Milan are still reportedly eyeing up a move for a striker and potentially one more defender before the January transfer window closes.
