Genoa have officially completed the signing of Portuguese forward, Vitinha, from Olympique Marseille on a loan deal with a buyout clause set at €25 million. The player has inked his new contract, making it official. Genoa released the following statement:
“First steps with the Gryphon for the new forward acquired from Olympique Marseille. Medical examinations were conducted yesterday at the CDS – Casa della Salute, welcomed by the club’s CEO Blázquez and Chief Operating Officer Ricciardella. He has signed the contract. This morning, he left with teammates for Coverciano. Training in the afternoon on the fields of the federal center.”
As part of the same operation, the Rossoblu have prematurely redeemed Ruslan Malinovskyi, who arrived last summer in Genoa from the French club using the loan with a buyout clause formula.
