Juventus have officially announced the signing of Hellas Verona full-back Juan Cabal on a five-year contract. The 23-year-old had been tipped to join Inter earlier this week, however the Bianconeri reportedly made a better offer to the player, resulting in a last-minute transfer.
The clubs official website confirmed the news:
“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Hellas Verona FC for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Cabal Murillo Juan David has reached for a consideration of € 11 million, payable in three financial years, with the addition of ancillary costs up to € 1.8 million.
Furthermore, bonuses up to a maximum of € 2 million are envisaged upon the achievement of further performance
objectives. Juventus and the player have signed a contract of employment until 30 June 2029”
