Monza have officially confirmed the signings of young talents Matija Popovic and Alessio Zerbin. A statement on the clubs official website confirmed the news:
Matija Popovic is officially an AC Monza player.
The Serbian forward has signed a contract until 30th June 2024.
Born on 8th January 2006 in Altotting, Germany, he grew up in FK Partizan’s youth academy.
In the 2022/2023 season he scored 21 goals in 25 appearances with the U17 Team.

Alessio Zerbin is officially an AC Monza player.
The Italian forward arrives from Napoli on a temporary basis until 30th June 2024.
Born in Novara on 3rd March 1999, he grew up in Inter’s youth academy.
On January 2017 he joins Napoli, where he becomes one of the protagonists of the Primavera Squad.
In the 2018-2019 he plays for Viterbese, with which he also wins a Coppa Italia Serie C.
After his experiences at Cesena and Pro Vercelli, in the summer of 2021 Zerbin joins Serie B side Frosinone, where he collects 9 goals in 31 appearances.
In the 2022/2023 season he makes his Serie A and Champions League debut with Napoli, winning the Scudetto at the end of the season.
Zerbin also has one appearance with the Italian National Team.
