Milan and France striker Olivier Giroud has confirmed that he is leaving the club at the end of the season. The news had been coming, as numerous reports in Italy suggested that he would not be renewing his contract with the Rossoneri. Speaking to the official Milan channel, Giroud said:
“I’m here to tell you that I will play my last two games for Milan. I will continue my career, but in the MLS. I am very, very proud of everything I have done here in these three years. It is the right time to say it, and I’m sorry for being a little emotional.”
“My journey with Milan ends this year, but Milan will always remain in my heart.”
