Parma have officially announced the permanent acquisition of Rachid Kouda from Spezia Calcio. The Italian midfielder, born in Cantù in 2002, joins Parma in a strategic move that sees him immediately loaned back to Spezia for the 2024/25 Serie B season.
Kouda, who has been called up to the Italian Under-21 national team and participated in the Toulon Tournament, made a significant impact in Serie B last season with 26 appearances, 2 goals, and 2 assists. Described as a modern midfielder with offensive skills and qualities, Kouda developed his talents in amateur football with Folgore Caratese before progressing to Lega Pro and eventually Spezia.
This transfer highlights Parma’s long-term planning, securing a promising talent while allowing him to continue his development with regular playing time in Serie B. The move also highlights the club’s commitment to nurturing young Italian talent.
As part of the deal, Parma Calcio has also finalized the permanent transfer of striker Antonio Čolak to Spezia Calcio. The club has extended its best wishes to Čolak and his new team for the upcoming sporting season.
