Sanchez was available on a free transfer after his contract with Inter Milan expired on June 30. The 35-year-old has now committed to a one-year contract with Udinese, with an option for a second year. During his first spell with the club from 2008 to 2011, Sanchez made over 100 appearances and scored 21 goals.
