The FIGC Prosecutor is reportedly asking for fines and suspensions to be handed out to Serie A clubs, their directors and Presidents. A number of Serie A and Serie B clubs have been under investigation, including Juventus and Napoli, with teams accused of inflating the value of players in previous transfer windows.

The initial hearing into the case was held this morning and La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Federal Prosecutor has demanded a fine of €800,000 for Juventus along with:

  • A one year suspension for club President Andrea Agnelli
  • Six months and 20 days for director Federico Cherubini
  • Eight months each for Vice-President Pavel Nedved and director Maurizio Arrivabene
  • 16 months and 10 days for former director Fabio Paratici

For Napoli, the Prosecutor has demanded:

  • 11 months and five days suspension for President Aurelio De Laurentiis
  • Six months and ten days for his wife Jacqueline Baudit, his son Edoardo, his daughter Valentina
  • Nine months and 15 days for club CEO Andrea Chiavelli

Napoli will also be asked to pay a fine of €329,000. Sampdoria, Empoli and Genoa are the other Serie A clubs involved in the trial and have been demanded to pay €195,000, €42,000 and €320,000, respectively.
