Napoli winger Matteo Politano is close to renewing his contract with the club, penning a new three year deal. The 30-year-old has an existing deal with the Partenopei until June 2025, but is set to be rewarded for his good form this season.
Sky Sport Italia, Nicolo Schira and Fabrizio Romano report that the new deal will be until 2027-28, and will include an increased salary of around €2.8/3m per year.
Politano has been with Napoli since 20149 and is enjoying one of his best seasons to date, scoring 7 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions.
