Juventus Approach Real Madrid Star As LaLiga Side Stall Contract Negotiations

Juventus are hoping to bring Antonio Rudiger back to Serie A as the German’s deal with Real Madrid expires at the end of the season.
Real Madrid Stall Over Antonio Rudiger Contract
The German international will be available as a free agent in the 2026 summer transfer window, as Real Madrid are yet to extend Rudiger’s deal in Spain.
Los Blancos are said to be concerned over Rudiger’s recent issues with injury, as the 32-year-old missed 10 LaLiga matches between September and November with a hamstring problem.
Rudiger has now suffered another knock, which saw the German miss Madrid’s league clash against Levante on January 17th and the Spanish side’s Champions League victory over Monaco on January 20th.
Alvaro Arebola is hoping to see Rudiger back in the starting eleven for the latter stages of the season, but the club are not ready to offer the German star a new deal.
With just six-months remaining on his current deal, Rudiger is allowed to enter pre-contract negotiations with another side due to the Bosman Rule and the 32-year-old has already attracted interest from multiple sides.
Galatasaray, who recently signed Noa Lang on loan from Napoli, have been heavily linked with Rudiger ahead of the 2026/27 season – but face stiff competition from Saudi Arabia.
Al Nassr are prepared to offer the Real Madrid star a monstrous salary during the summer transfer window and Rudiger is considering a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career.
However, the German international is also keen on competing at the top level for another season and could consider a return to Serie A.
Serie A Giants Keen On Antonio Rudiger Move
Antonio Rudiger made 56 Serie A appearances during his time with Roma, before completing a €35million move to Chelsea in July 2017.
The German failed to win any major silverware during his spell with the Giallorossi and Rudiger may have unfinished business in Serie A.
According to reports, Juventus are monitoring Rudiger’s situation in Madrid and are prepared to make a substantial offer to the German as there would be no transfer fee.
Luciano Spalletti is planning on making some major additions in the January window, as Juventus reach an agreement for Youssef En-Nesryi and target Sunderland star Simon Adingra.
However, any move for Rudiger will have to wait until the summer as Real Madrid have not made a full decision over the German’s contract situation.
Juventus will have to wait for both parties to reach an agreement, but the early indicators suggest that Rudiger will not be offered an extended deal in Madrid.
