The latest Riccardo Orsolini transfer news has revealed the Bologna star has rejected a move to the Saudi Pro League. 

Orsolini has already scored five Serie A goals in seven appearances so far in 2025-26. He has also gotten off the mark in the Europa League having netted in the 1-1 draw against Freiburg.

According to TuttoSport, Riccardo Orsolini was offered a mega-money deal to move to Saudi Arabia. It would have seen the Italian international earn over double what he currently pockets at Bologna.

The publication says there was a three-year contract on the table which has been swiftly rebuffed by the player himself. Orsolini has no desire to leave Serie A and is reportedly happy to stay put.

That will come as a huge relief to the Rossoblu faithful who widely regard the 28-year-old star as their finest player. Orsolini has been with the 2024-25 Coppa Italia winners for seven years.

As it stands, Riccardo Orsolini is set to be offered a new Bologna contract. Talks are expected to gather pace over the coming months as the Rossoblu look to reward their most prized asset.

Orsolini’s current deal sees him earn approximately €1.5million per year. He can expect that figure to at least double on what would potentially be a four-year extension.

In terms of assists, Orsolini has 49 to his name. For the Rossoblu, Orsolini has scored 79 goals and registered 32 assists. 70 of his strikes and 30 assists came in Serie A.

In 2024-25, Orsolini enjoyed his best season to date. Not only did he register a career-high 17 goals in all competitions, the 28-year-old also won the Coppa Italia.
