Roma are continuing to push for PSG midfielder Renato Sanches in the hopes the Parisians will agree a loan move for the Portuguese starlet. The Giallorossi have been among the most active in the transfer market, signing Evan N’Dicka and Houssem Aouar on free transfers, while shipping out the deadwood from their squad.
Sky Sport Italia’s transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Roma are now pushing to sign Sanches to strengthen their midfield. The Giallorossi would prefer to sign him on loan if possible, but this would be reliant on both the player and PSG agreeing to the request.
Roma have sounded out Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and other options, but Sanches is reportedly a preferred target. The two clubs have already worked together to agree terms for Gini Wijnaldum last summer, and this could stand them in good stead for the current transfer window.
Sanches joined PSG from Lille for a discount €15 million fee but has failed to cement his place in the clubs midfield, prompting speculation that he could leave this summer.
