Juventus find themselves in a difficult situation following Bremer’s serious knee injury during their Champions League match against RB Leipzig. The Brazilian defender suffered a torn left knee ligament and is expected to be sidelined until June 2025 at the earliest. This has prompted the Bianconeri to consider reinforcing their defense in the January transfer window.
Among the names linked with a potential move to Turin was Daniele Rugani, who is currently on loan at Ajax. However, Rugani’s agent, Davide Torchia, has quickly dismissed the possibility of an early return to Juventus.
Speaking to Juventusnews24, Torchia stated: “I sincerely think that Rugani will continue his adventure at Ajax. I don’t believe that Daniele’s early return is a viable idea for Juventus, not so much for technical reasons, but because their ideas are different.”
Rugani, who made 18 appearances and scored 2 goals for Juventus last season under Allegri, moved to Ajax in the summer after considering offers from Fiorentina and Bologna. So far, he has made three appearances for the Dutch club – two in Europa League qualifiers and one in the Eredivisie.
