Sassuolo sporting director Giovanni Carnevali confirmed that Davide Frattesi to Inter is a done deal, with Samuele Mulattieri set to join the Neroverdi. The deal is in the closing stages with just the medical and official announcement pending after the Nerazzurri accelerated in their efforts to sign the midfielder.
Speaking while leaving Inter headquarters, Carnevali confirmed to journalists that the transfer is almost complete:
“Frattesi to Inter is done, he signed just now. We are absolutely happy. Surely it was not an easy negotiation, long, also because there were several interested clubs, but I think that with Inter it ended in the best way, for us but also for the player, who already had a preference for the Nerazzurri.
