Roma Forward Tammy Abraham Agrees Four-Year Besiktas Deal

Start

The latest Tammy Abraham transfer news has confirmed that the Roma striker has agreed to a four-year deal with Besiktas.

Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano said on Monday that a verbal agreement has already been reached as the 27-year-old gets set to leave the Stadio Olimpico.

Abraham will link up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Super Lig next season. The former Man United boss has been with the Turkish giants since January.

Tammy Abraham Transfer News

Tammy Abraham’s switch to Besiktas is being pushed through for one standout reason. His potential sale on Monday will ensure that Roma complies with FFP regulations.

The Giallorossi want Brighton’s Matt O’Riley but talks with the Premier League club are on hold until enough funds are received by June 30.

Assuming Abraham’s move goes through, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side will be able to start transferring players into their roster from July 1.

Abraham has been with the Rome club since 2021. However, he fell down the pecking order and spent the whole of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Milan.

How Much Will Tammy Abraham Cost Besiktas?

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tammy Abraham will cost Besiktas €20million. The former England international will become the Turkish club’s fourth signing of the summer.

He’ll follow Felix Uduokhal, Joao Mario and David Jurasek to the Besiktas Stadium. The deal to bring Abraham to the Super Lig was relatively modest owing to Roma’s need to raise quick funds.

That won’t bother head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or the Black Eagles faithful in the slightest. After finishing fourth last season, Solskjaer’s side has been on the lookout for a genuine goalscorer and views Abraham as the ideal candidate.

Ciro Immobile is on the verge of leaving the club which has helped convince Solskjaer to act quickly and draft Abraham into his roster.

Who Could Roma Replace Tammy Abraham With?

According to the best offshore sportsbooks, Roma is expected to be extremely active throughout July and August in the transfer window.

That is because the exit of Tammy Abraham will ensure no embargoes or punishments are put in place as they will have satisfied the FFP regulations.

Matt O’Riley is high on the Giallorossi’s list. The likes of Fedirico Chiesa, Lorenzo Lucca and Gonzalo Garcia have also been mooted.

In reality, the Rome giants will be linked with a number of forwards in the coming weeks. Gasperini will be one of the busiest bosses in Serie A as he looks to add to his roster.
